Step Up 2

Step Up 2 the Streets" is the follow-up to the smash hit "Step Up," which ignited theaters in August 2006. When rebellious street dancer Andie (Briana Evigan) lands at the elite Maryland School of the Arts, she finds herself fighting to fit in while also trying to hold onto her old life. When she joins forces with the school's hottest dancer Chase (Robert Hoffman) to form a crew of classmate outcasts to compete in Baltimore's underground dance battle The Streets, she ultimately finds a way to live her dream while building a bridge between her two separate worlds.

P/S: A very predictable & typical dance movie.. rebellious youth join dance school, trying to strike balance between the school life & outside.. fall in love with good guy/girl at school etc etc..
But i still watch it, becos it never fail to amaze me how well they dance!!! superb moves! cool.

everything happens for a reason

Recent events that's happening in my life make me realised that there are no mistakes, everything happens for a reason, it's how i choose to take it, be it postively or negatively, it's all under my own control.

Just when my colleagues & I were discussing certain topic about life, at a time that i'm pondering over my own life and what direction i should direct it at, one of my friend sent me this link.

if you have time, do watch it.

p/s: I'm a nurse, i'm face with life & death everyday at work place, i should know better how to live my life, not to take it for granted, i'm still learning, and i intend to learn it well.

Seeing yrself ~ from paulo coelho's blog

When you look at your companions, try to see yourself,’ said the Japanese teacher Okakura Kakuso.

‘But isn’t that an awfully selfish attitude?’ asked a disciple. ‘If we are always concerned about ourselves, we will never see the good things that others have to offer.’

‘If only we did always see the good things in others,’ replied Kakuso.

‘But the truth is that when we look at another person, we are only looking for defects. We try to discover his wicked side because we want him to be worse than us. We never forgive him when he hurts us because we do not believe that we would ever be forgiven. We manage to wound him with harsh words, declaring that we are telling the truth, when all we are doing is trying to hide it from ourselves. We pretend that we are important so that no one else will see how fragile we are. That is why whenever you judge your brother, be aware that you are the one who is on trial.’
